Owners Chris Sr. and Chris Jr. are experienced
and certified furniture professionals. The two Chrises know furniture and thus can advise our customers on any furniture
situation. Chris Sr. is a Master Upholsterer and Certified Furniture Appraiser. Other stores offer salespeople
who have undergone sales training courses. Simply put, they don't know furniture! WE DO! Come see us

In 1979, we started our business at a modest, small storefront as Ocean State Sleep Centre, on Providence
street. As the years passed we evolved into a full line furniture store in 1984 with our move to downtown West Warwick
at #1 Washington Street. In 2005, we purchased the former "Warwick Hanger" factory (A jewelry manufacturer)
and fully renovated the 18,000 square foot building to become a state of the art open format furniture store. Now operating
at 183 Washington Street, Ocean State offers a wide and varied selection of furniture and bedding, enough to accomodate any
style requirement or mattress preference.
