In 1979, we started our business at a modest, small storefront as Ocean State Sleep Centre, on Providence street.  As the years passed we evolved into a full line furniture store in 1984 with our move to downtown West Warwick at #1 Washington Street.  In 2005, we purchased the former "Warwick Hanger" factory (A jewelry manufacturer) and fully renovated the 18,000 square foot building to become a state of the art open format furniture store.  Now operating at 183 Washington Street, Ocean State offers a wide and varied selection of furniture and bedding, enough to accomodate any style requirement or mattress preference.
